Hardware

Below is a list of currently available Pic32MZ development boards as of Feb 2015. I have provided some pros and cons of each to aid readers in selecting the right one for them.

I am using the ChipKit(TM) Wi-Fire board from DIGILENT as my development board and the rest of this blog is based on this hardware.

Note: As of Feb 2015 only Pre-Production versions of the PIC32MZ have been released. Even the development boards below contain pre-production chips. These chips are close to production but have a number of errata (Issues) which the user should consider before starting a project on the PIC32MZ. Full details here: Pic32MZ_Errata_A5
